Lymphoedema & Manual Lymphatic Drainage

A specialised light-touch therapy that encourages the natural movement of lymph fluid through the body. Specifically beneficial for reducing swelling, supporting immune function, & promoting relaxation. Using precise, rhythmic strokes to stimulate the lymphatic system, helping to clear congestion, flush out toxins, & reduce inflammation. MLD is often recommended after surgery, cancer treatment, injury, or when the lymphatic system needs additional support. As a DLT certified therapist I offer compression bandaging and garment fitting alongside MLD treatments. I am certified to treat oedema within the upper and lower limbs, breast, abdomen, neck and head. I also provide self-drainage techniques and exercise to assist with long-term management.

As an LTA certified FG-MLD® & DLT therapist & registered with MLDUK, I am qualified & insured to treat Lymphoedema.

MLD can help with:

  • Primary & Secondary Lymphoedema (chronic swelling)

  • Detoxification & immune system support

  • Post-surgery recovery

  • Post-cancer treatment recovery
